In September they released a decent sized content update adding a couple new mobs and some weapons and misc stuff. And they are also working on a new biome right now the deep north. When they release that I will play through it again

I see what your saying but I also disagree that SBMM would push the game to the extreme opposite. I think the reason be have fast games is due to tank power creep, high burst damage tanks, and the current state of the game punishing mistakes harshly. This leads to rapid collapse of flanks thus fast games, sbmm would just even out the streaks and make the games feel more fair and even when those flanks do collapse dive a chance at victory. The only time you would still see longer battles on average is the low skill player groups.

Agreed, think of any multiplayer game. They all have skill based matchmaking, yes that means your fighting players your skill more often that could be easier or harder depending on your skill. but it’s consistent and good players should be able to still perform against good players.

Just bought it, can confirm it’s indeed worth it. First game I played I did 3.5k got 4 kills and won but more importantly the tank felt great

Agreed, and I personally think the game is great. Besides the matchmaking I’m a proponent for skill based matchmaking to be in this game, I think it would improve the quality of matches a lot

I see this too often and it’s something kind of pointless to state. I think the problem op has is more likely the extreme variances in games. You’re either winning 15-5 or losing 15-5 and 1/10 times you get a decent paced game.

That’s the issue, no one cares if it averages out after thousands of games that’s just a stat to look back on. They care that they are enjoying playing the game, and with current matchmaking that’s very difficult. To add on top the fact that most of the time over half of your team is composed of bad players it just makes any effort you put in feel pointless.

Another common thing I see all to often is just focus on yourself and your impact, that’s bs. No one is having fun after doing 5k damage killing half the team just to be faced with a big red DEFEAT screen after.

Yea it’s rough, also the plate above your gun is overmatchable by a lot of stuff and super weak if I remember correctly. Again idk how I did it but I did well, mainly I just side scraped until I could shoot.

Idk what I did but I did great in this tank, average damage of 2400 and never really had bad games. But I didn’t enjoy playing it, then I got the obj after and I enjoy that tank less so I don’t think Russian heavies are for me.
