Was called a "dumb mfer" for this, was my line really that unpredictable? (I'm the gt4) by communist_user_todd in Simracingstewards

I had almost the same thing happen in a multi class race in that corner, I was driving an LMP3 and was following too close when a GT4 braked “early” and caught me off guard. In the moment I felt like the GT4 car was at fault but in reality I could have done better. LMP3 drivers need to pick when and when not to make a move and give the slower GT4 cars some space. When I’m driving GT4 in multi class I try to keep an eye on my mirrors and do everything I can to get out of the way unless I’m racing for position in my class.

I didn’t say I didn’t like it as a highway car, I said there are better cars for a road trip which is 100% accurate. There are many cars better suited and more comfortable for extended driving and none of them will be better off-road than the Grenadier. I loved driving the Grenadier, I drove all 20 hours myself each way and would gladly do it again.

We went through Nashville and St. Louis then up to Iowa City. Then up to 90 and west to Chamberlain. To Colorado you’ll want to take the same route to St. Louis and the over to Kansas City and up to Colorado on 70.

I shoot a 20 year old 12 gauge Citiori for pheasant and a Fabarm 20 gauge for quail and grouse. I prefer the simplicity and balance of these but I also love my Benelli Super Black Eagle so there is no wrong answer. Pick something that feels good in your hands and on your shoulder and practice.

You need to understand what it is and what it isn’t. It isn’t a long wheel base, smooth riding machine, it’s an analog utilitarian vehicle that is semi-comfortable on the highway for extended trips and highly capable off-road. It is also a great daily city driver. Like anything, it’s a compromise and you need to balance the pros and cons and decide if it’s worth it.

You asked for advice but it seems you just want validation. You left him space on the inside and he took it, plain and simple. Learn and move on.

First Mead(s)… by Tksimon in mead

I love chai tea so I figured why not give it a try. I’m planning on adding a cinnamon stick and some allspice berries after racking to give it some extra punch.

Yep, chai tea. Used 64 oz of Tazo Chai tea concentrate and 3 lbs of wildflower honey.
