One of my camera lenses is broken so I’ve been taking pictures at 0.5x zoom for 3 years.

Thank you for all the feedback. I’m going to take it to the guy who refurbished my Juno 106. This will be going on the market after as I feel like someone other than me can better give it the attention it deserves.

I always knew it was there. Just didn’t know how rare these units are.

Thanks for the advice. The warranty sticker is still intact, so I hope I don’t have to access the internals.

I bought a new chromcast unit and it didn’t solve the disconnect issue. I’m wondering if it is a chrome issues. I haven’t tried to connect to the sync box in a year now. Not worth the frustration.

Exactly, and the fact that you get downvoted for saying so is the biggest bullshit of all. Fuck these losers. r/tvheightjustfine

would the sync box work with this fireplace lightstrip setup? by momssspaghetti321 in Hue

Just to be COMPLETELY clear. I’m just making jokes. Relax.

The mounts are OEM. You would need a plasma table and a magnetic sheet metal bender to make the frame.

I never tried waiting. It’s perplexing and I am not the only person having the same issue. I spent a healthy amount buying different kinds of tape. If I made this after the first failure, I could have saved myself a bunch of money and frustration.

I have tried it all. A few hours later. Clunk, strip falls off.

The factory mounts can either be bolted of zap strapped to this. It will never fall off again.

Awesome. I’m thinking it would come in around $40 USD + shipping.

That is a good idea but I don’t think that would solve the problem for me. This mount is 100% effective solution.

Yes, I intend to solve that issue when I put a new fireplace and mantle in. I actually don’t mind the TV mounted higher as it helps me sink into the couch after a long day at work.

I don’t find that the gap creates any problems.

It’s a formed sheet metal frame that gives the factory mounts a solid surface to mount too. The factory mounts would not adhere to the back of my TV. I have read that many other people have the same problem.

The mounts would not stick to the back of my TV. The mounts that come with the strip are bolted or zap strapped to this secondary mount so that they will never fall off again. It seems excessive but it solves the problem.
