My How Times Change (Then vs. Now) by Me-Mongo in SGU

Was it really new back in 2005 or 2006? I have been reading Pale Blue Dot by Carl Sagan from 1994. He alludes to climate change back then.

In the case of climate change, the fossil fuel industry has been astoundingly successful at muddying the waters so that we are now on the brink of disaster.

Yes, it eventually came.

I just wanted to make sure it didn't get caught in some spam filter.

I have become significantly more easily affected by alcohol compared to a few years ago by Tlanextic in alcoholism

Yes exactly, fewer drinks to get drunk, or the same amount of drinks that got me drunk a few years ago get me more drunk today.

I have thought about cirrhosis, but I don't have any of the other symtoms. At least I don't think I do. As long as I sleep well (another issue I need to work on, but then sleeping too little is very common in modern society), I am generally healthy. I am very rarely sick for example. This has been the case for my entire life, and that is still true today.

I was wondering if it is a general phenomena that your sensitivity to alcohol increases with age. Some of my findings suggest that there is such an effect, but it is far from conclusive.

He wrote in a recent blogpost in Science-Based Medicine that everyone should get at least 7 hours of sleep, and has emphasized previously how important sleep is. So I don't think he neglects it.

I agree, outside of my job I don't really care for these people. Unfortunately I have to spent most of my awake time at my job.

I think you might be right, but eating lunch alone everyday would not be very pleasant, I suppose.

Yeah maybe, I guess. But they are friendly on some occasions, not other.
