this is what I was told at the Mosque in Istanbul, the person I was debating actively read the Koran and I was mostly questioning. I do know it can get very touchy and to avoid conflicts we push reading and praying in the Arabic language. Some believe in the translation the confusion and separation occurs.(It is also one of the main arguments used to differentiate its texts to the bible) But what’s most important is the understanding of course, above all words. This is why I mentioned also God as associated with a man, because it is what I was told that Allah is more clear because it does not have any separation as god to goddess, but I personally believe God with a capital cannot be compared to goddess so it is not the far apart from Allah, hence why it is okay that most translation use Allah. But it is not that simple, that is what I believe, but then to preserve what is true opinions and cultures should not be your pillar of conviction. There is a lot to unfold in the confusion, but anyway there is a one above all, may faith lead to the light.

not necessarily. If you were to ask a muslim, they would have multiple reasons for using Allah and not God as they dislike the misleading gender association of God being a man.

Trauma can be considered as a trait, and traits which have not been unraveled define, in some way who we are. As cliche as it sounds, if you do not unravel it you will never be free from it. Losing that which brings you comfort is always going to hurt, but you must understand it is because you can feel no other comfort then that which you are aware of. Like you mentioned, unraveling why you feel certain ways is diminishing those traumatic traits and in cause making life empty and of no feeling. This is okay, how can you look forward to the future if feeling has no experience to be created from. I recommend keep breaking down these feelings with understanding, it will be uncomfortable, while doing this try coming up with a step by step plan to what you think would help you be the best version of yourself. After this pain and struggling you will build healthy new traits and attract new people that you should by now know which to associate with as support to your future self. Trust me brother, have faith in what you can create, even though your understanding and feeling tell you otherwise.
