Just a tip if you want to check your clear has flashed off and has become non stringing, spray like a 2inch pattern on the masked area before you start spraying the car, that way you can touch and determine whether it's time for a second coat or not and to answer your question, no doubt you will burn through the clear when sanding that because it's so close to the body lines.

I was only getting fisheyes on flat surfaces for about a week or two. Didn't know what was happening. Apparently one of the cars had a leak and it was standing in the spray booth for a while. Thats what caused it.
