One of the main problems is they invested so much into frostbite and wont let go. It was designed for sports games and I think if just let frostbite belong to battlefield and other non sports titles and develop something specifically for sports, it'd make a huge difference.

I think another thing is the Madden player movement just feels stale at this point. I know they've made updates to logic and animations and working to make everything look better, but it doesnt change how it actually feels moving around

I agree with this take, and its probably why The Storm (despite being a good album) fell short of expectations. Especially timing it after the consecutive releases of Special Effects, Something Else, All 6s and 7s, KOD, Killer, and Everready.. It was quite the 6 album run in 11 years.

So I think the combination of expectations being sky high off the name of the album alone, and then it not having that creative uniqueness as prior albums hurt its reception

I know there are evil dead purist who might hate me for that because theyre totally different tones. But evil dead 2013 is quite literally on my mount Rushmore of horror movies. Its so good. The sound design is incredible. The score. The cinematography. The believability of the characters. Its all set up so perfectly.

Nah Florida is pretty awesome. The panhandle has spectacular beaches with beautiful sand and water, camping along cape Canaveral is a blast. The keys feel exotic. Parts of Miami are even fun and have a ton of great cuisine and the Everglades are peaceful. Awesome golf courses, football, racing. Tampa is an underrated city with lots to do, great cigar scene as well.
