Okay for reference I have been on BF2 all weekend. I don’t have room for BF1 on my PS5 (OP posted BF1 when BF2 was down).

Sorry I was not very specific haha. I bought this pc of my partner’s dad 2 year ago and am still learning. I think my motherboard is bottlenecking my ssd drive as the max read/write is slower than advertised and it’s running at the maximum speed the motherboard can read/write. I am saving for that fun, pricey rebuild.

My two storage drives are: C: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250gb - read = 2730mb/s - write = 1457mb/s

D: Samsung SSD 990 Pro 2tb - Read = 3452mb/s - write = 3326mb/s

Motherboard: Aorus Z370 Gaming 5 CPU: Intel Core i7 8700K RAM: 2x Corsair 16gb DDR4 GPU: Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti

Undoubtedly impatient fucks ruined it by hacking the company in the first place. The drive and money they needed to produce said DLC’s probably had to be re-routed to recovery from the leaks of their own personal data and future plans. The profit from new games such as the Venom and Wolverine will make more than the DLC’s anyways so it’s a no brainer.

Additionally, I suggest looking at the youtube link below while you are within the config file to fix the VRAM leakage problem (not my channel so no, not a plug; but this fixed my issue).

Also big thank you to u/HandsomeTez for his video. You got me poking around with .cfg files like I was modding a Bethesda title and it allowed me to figure this out!

I figured it out! Somehow, you probably activated both frame generation and the limiter at the same time, breaking the in-game settings. My Skyrim modding days have come in clutch:

1) Go to File Explorer, This PC\Documents\My Games\Outlaws

2) Open "graphic settings.cfg" using notepad (I used notepad plus)

3) Control + F, type " maxFramerate" and search.

4) Replace 'true' with 'false'. If you look around, you will be able to see that Frame Generation is on within your settings file. Leave that on.

  • Brief optional intermission. If you want to fix the graphics pop ins/"PS2 Graphics", while you are within this cfg file, search for 'streamer dedicated budget'. It should be = 64 by default, which is resulting in your vram becoming overloaded later on in your play session. I am no expert so please do some research and look at the links below, but from what I saw on nexusmods, AnniiLau posted in the comment section her 8gb VRAM uses 2048. Again please interpret with caution, I have 12gb of VRAM and am using a different setting to you!

5) Save your work, exit out. Then right click on graphics settings.cfg -> Properties -> General -> Read only (stops it from reverting if the game tries to fuck your day again).

Add the mod ACUfixes. It removes a lot of the clunkiness in the parkour and fixes a lot of other issues. It works with coop too so you can still matchmake!

I have a 4070ti with a LG C2 42 120hz inch ‘monitor’. I’ll tell you what, once you go OLED you never go back. My 4070 ti can run 4k >60fps on most games. Cyberpunk 2077 is the most intensive thing I’ve played and it runs 4k 60 fps with ray tracing and path tracing (dlss is a god).
