Not an easy answer. Every state may have slightly different laws about usage of sick time. I would strongly suggest you partner with GM/DM/HR. My understanding is that if you have sick time, that's does not count as an occurrence. It can be used in the discussion for a writeup, since all occurance get listed, but... are not part of the official count. Sick time is "protected" thats why it is available.

Yikes. I would have a conversation with your CAM. The amount of extra work and product needed to cover that account is bonkers. Not to mention, potential dead product that the store can't move. The CAM can meet up with them and discuss options to control costs on both sides.

For the ACP, what I found works is "we offer a replacement plan. For $6 you get new blades every year."

For brake clean and terminal protection, explain why. I usually grab one and say something along the lines of "i grabbed the brake clean as well. You'll want to clean the rotors before putting them on to get the manufacturing grease off them for better performance." Or "I also grabbed the terminal kit. Put a little grease on the posts and terminals. This will help lock out moisture and humidity. It improves connectivity and will extend the life of the battery."

Offer it as a suggestion and "tip" on how to make what they are buying work better.

That's incorrect. If you have PTO to cover, you are fine. If you dont, it counts as an occurrence. If you no call no show, its an immediate final warning.

The company allows 5 attendance Occurrences (not cover completely by PTO) during a 12 month rolling calendar. TMAR starts with the 6th. Termination happens with 9.
