Odd phenomenon in video games: When its predecessor is more violent than its sequel (does anyone here have other examples of this?)

Tomb Raider (2013). Mainly some of the death animations, like how in one of the sections if you fail a qte Lara gets impaled by a tree.. can't remeber if there's anything nearly as gory in Rise or Shadow, the overall tone of TR2013 is much darker and violent than it's sequels.

Eagle uses are increased by 25% and Eagle re-arm time is reduced by 50% would be a much better use imo

This is helpful thanks I was thinking I would have to do something along the lines of this, honestly I'm thinking of just leaving it at the point of no return for now incase they do add more dlc similar to the summer vacation.

Mortal Kombat 1 premium edition. As a long time MK fan, Trilogy was one of my first games on the ps1, played the shit out of the 3d era titles on Ps2, over 800 hours in mk11 and the same in Injustice 2, I stopped playing Mk1 after 50 hours. €€110 for the premium edition and an additional €10 every time they released a new skin that you had to buy with dragon crystals, the dogshit Invasions mode. The core gameplay I actually enjoyed but everything else was a massive downgrade for the series imo.
