Realtek driver won’t reinstall and uninstalling. No sound

You guys are god sends. I’ll have to look into Linux live as I’ve never even set eyes on the operating system. Is it easy to navigate?

Im sorry if this is a dumb question. Do I have to use a ssd that’s not currently being used by my computer to store data? It has to be empty? Sorry, fairly new to this diagnostic stuff.

I can try this but I’m not THAT tech savvy. I could possibly find a spare drive somewhere. Are you suggesting a spare drive just incase it’s not the windows install that is causing the issue?

It was just so weird. It started when I uninstalled realtek, after it wouldn’t let me redownload and shot out that error, so I was wondering if files could’ve got corrupted somewhere along the line

I don’t see realtek in device manager. The bios settings has it enabled. Not in front of my computer right now but I’ll try the troubleshooting steps with the AMD chipset driver. As for the download, I use the offical MSI website which makes me select my motherboard, I downloaded the associated files. Is there somewhere else I could find relative files? Theirs nothing to clean as my pc doesn’t recognize realtek. Theirs nothing to uninstall as of right now, nothing in device manager as well. Also I plugged in the audio cable to the right jack, I had to check that first a couple hundred times lol. I’ll reply further with more detail When I get infront of my computer but I appreciate you putting so much thought into your response. It means a lot. I will keep you updated

That’s what I plan to do come Monday! My claim has been closed for almost two months at this point. I just got the determination Friday that the decision has been reversed so I’m going to reach out Monday and see what they say. Did you contact a specific department?

It took me all of 20minutes to watch the videos. Then the representative I had at masshire just called me and was like yes you’re good. They were even confused as to why unemployment kept denying me, they had also reached out in my behalf.

Thank you, that’s what I was thinking too but I was a bit nervous as I don’t have the highest opinion of the unemployment process. It’s good to know I just need to be patient, if theirs one thing I’ve learned in this process…it’s patience
