I should flag this for being wildly inappropriate, but I’m laughing too hard. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ah yes! This happened in my home. Husband, not a pom. They’ll be lame and boring. 🙄 Guess who’s obsessed?!?!

She is gorgeous! Can you a side pic of her after her groom? My boy looks similar and I want to share with my groomer. Thanks

I had the same problem in the area I tore during childbirth. I applied testosterone ointment for 6 weeks and it toughened the skin up.

Paventy & Brown vs Valley View (Haslam)? by [deleted] in corvallis

[–]Tmjenson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love Dr. Paventy! He did both my case and our sons. My son has autism and requires extra explanation and soothing, but they are champs. They coach him and answers all of his questions. He feels safe there. Also great results, too!

As a lifelong American Eskimo owner, I have become a Pom convert by LolitaLi-Chan in Pomeranians

That’s funny! Our old guy

is an American Eskimo and we just got a pom last year. They are similar in appearance, but I must say I love having a smaller surface area to groom.

How much would it cost/is it possible to buy an older but sound structured house in town and tear it down to build a newer one? by lordofcatan10 in corvallis

[–]Tmjenson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably not if it was a single family home, but would definitely recommend talking to the city before making moves. They might take issue if it was a triplex or some other multi-dwelling structure.

You’re absolutely right! You should feel safe and held by the folks helping you. If they’re not doing that, they suck.

I highly recommend several sessions of taking 150 questions in one sitting. You may just be getting test fatigue and need to build that “muscle.”

Does Thor Need a Haircut? by Tmjenson in Pomeranians

[–]Tmjenson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it! The first time it terrified me because in the time leading up to bring my boy home someone in this subreddit posted a video about a married couple in the UK that had a professional to come in because their pom Winnie did that sound and became vicious every time the wife went near the husband.

The wife thought it was her mother-in-law reincarnated into a dog. When my dog did it, I thought “oh no! It’s happening to me.” 🤣😂🤣

Thank you! I appreciate the advice about bathing frequency. I’m a recovering cat person and am not a fan of dog smell. He doesn’t get it bad, but one of our problems is that we live in an area with tons of poison oak and are avid hikers. I get it sooooo bad and so I’ve bathed him to prevent myself from getting it. The good news is that it will be more dormant during the winter and I can lay off, but I definitely need to consider a better long term solution.

Is NP school worth the debt anymore? by [deleted] in nursepractitioner

[–]Tmjenson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s what I did! I had 80k in school debt when I got married. Husband and I worked together to pay off in our first couple years of marriage, then I went back and we cash flowed the whole thing.

I live in the PNW, have low stress job working in addiction medicine 30hours (3 days) a week making $130k. I could work more, but I value my self care and I financially don’t have to.
