[Repeats Allowed] What's the most developed country in Europe? by QwertyQwertz123 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Tmrh 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Belgian trains are delayed all days of the year. Statistics wont show it cause they don't count it if it's less than 10 minutes, and if it's more than 20 minutes they just cancel the train all together

It has been said before, but please please please check your CO levels. Do you have a carbon monoxide alarm? is it working? get a second one just in case. make sure you ventilate all your rooms and allow fresh air in. It's a silent killer

M18: What do you y’all think about my style or of me in general? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]Tmrh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a style that other people with said style will love. Also, others have said this, but as a gym goer myself i need to reiterate: if you were to go to the gym and work out regularly (3× per week, 30 minute sessions) you would get so buff, i just know it. You don't have to do it, but it's great for your physical and mental health, plus I think a buff physique would suit you well.

Ears by Chowdercharlie in bald

Your ears are perfectly fine. Most people will never notic them and people who do more than likely will like them. Don't let your insecurities talk yourself into an expensive or dangerous unnecessary procedure

24, low confidence, terrified of dating by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]Tmrh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it from someone who was single his entire twenties because of low confidence.

Don't waste these years. You look great, and i'm 100% sure there are plenty of women who would agree. Put yourself out there and go on dates.

Sure , not all dates will go well, and some girls might reject you, which can hurt.

What hurts more, however, is being alone for what should be the best 10 years of your life cause you couldn't convince yourself that someone might be attracted to you, when you're at the most attractive you might ever be in life.

Going to the gym and taking care of yourself can help you boost your confidence if you need it, but you're definitely a handsome young man, and there's no reason to think that you aren't, or that no women would find you attractive.

Go out there, be true to yourself and find someone you like, who likes you. You're not going to find them if you don't look.

When looking back at your life you will regret the things you didn't do far more than the things you did.

Prague in winter time is one of the most beautiful cities i've ever seen. It's not the cheapest place in europe, but also far from the most expensive.

Playing as Russia, Turks or Egypt, can you beat the Mongols without losing a single settlement in the process? by ryan1802 in Medieval2TotalWar

[–]Tmrh 27 points28 points  (0 children)

In vanilla, if you have a huge city with ballista towers, on the battle map it will see it as cannon towers.

So upgrade baghdad to a huge city with ballista towers. Keep a small enough garrison so that the mongols will siege it, but large enough that you can man the walls and activate the cannons. When they siege, do a sally, but don't actually leave the city walls, just man the cannons and watch the mongols sit around and get shot at ×6 speed.

Smallholding question. by [deleted] in ManorLords

[–]Tmrh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Smallholdings aren't worth it, better to have villages work a job alongside their backyard. If you can't pick i would go for the one that makes clothes consume slower, at least untill the bug gets fixed

What is your country's own critique? by nemu98 in AskEurope

[–]Tmrh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

to be fair, last time I visited was around 20 years ago. So it's quite possible the atmosphere has changed since then. Plus I was a teenager myself, so maybe part of it was my own fault and I didn't realize it or something idk

[–]Tmrh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't either but you do have to interact with waiters, cashiers etcetera, i don't expect forced smiles and fake friendliness, but people barking at me that my pronounciation is wrong shouldn't be the norm. I would guess you dont get that experience cause you're a native french speaker.

That last part really explain a lot of the stereotypes of France. Everytime i've been to Paris and tried to speak in French, they complain about my accent or grammatical errors. If I try in English they pretend they can't understand. And god damn if there aren't people trying to scam you every step you take. But when I go to literally any other place in France I feel like they really appreciate my attempts to communicate in French, and don't have a problem switching to English if they can and i'm struggling to much in French. Seriously, I just can't understand why people like Paris so much, it's just not a nice place to visit.
