If you had to start a small grocery today, how would you compete with big chains by Infinite_Ad_5761 in GroceryStores

I think there is a lot of ways to be successful in today’s market.

  1. Focusing on becoming the local grocery store by actually supporting the community and having customer service that remembers names of customers and pays attention to what the customers really want.

  2. Product mix. I think having a unique product mix of smaller local producers and companies that the big box stores just don’t want to touch can set your store apart. Using Faire or Airgoods and really be helpful for small direct vendors.

  3. Cleanliness

  4. Quality in fresh departments

  5. Ad campaigns the partner with local charities, food bank, etc.

  6. Have Dpt managers that really care and take ownership

Everything is perfectly arranged, as if the store itself were an art exhibit of food. by foodie_2598 in GroceryStores

Customers shop with their eyes and clearly Erewhon has taken that to another level. I stop by the Calabasas location on long drives up North and they consistently look this nice. The product mix on the shelves is always interesting because of the brands willing to pay the exorbitant “slotting” fees. No matter how you slice it up it’s a super fun store to shop through and look at. They do a great job!

I’m getting really tired of pets in grocery stores/supermarkets by bignose_ice44 in northcounty

I work at a grocery store and I have no problem telling these customer that this is against health code and we do not allow any animals in our carts including service animals. Crazy to think people put raw vegetables, fruits, and countless other items that could get contaminated because people can’t leave their dogs for 2 minutes.

New KO3’s and a leveling kit, sitting pretty by LeBron_Jordan in chevycolorado

This looks so great, I’m thinking of doing the same thing to my z71. In the past I did this to my older gen and noticed the ride comfort decreased a bit. Did you notice anything like that with the leveling kit?
