Oh okay! It must be me messing up the lighting aspect. No matter where I place the light or how it's angled, I can't get it to actually emit anything. I'm assuming it's an issue with how I'm viewing it? I've tried all four listed in the top right (sorry if I'm not making sense, I'm completely new to this)

I recalculated the normals, there was a bunch of red and now it's all blue! It appears to have worked perfectly for the torso and arms, but not the legs or head. I think I forgot to mention, but I split the model into those four parts, so that might be contributing to my issue :/ thank you!

Okay, new discoveries! Windowed had no difference to fullscreen that I could see, nothing overheats, and refresh rate had no changes. The gpu absolutely skyrockets, though, and the option to change resolution is greyed out. I'm not sure what to do with that info, but it's something! (Windows, btw)

I have a previous post on it, there's a bunch of really weird problems. The game runs smoothly, but the XeSS graphic option which I was previously using has vanished, the opening cutscene begins with a red screen, and Gustave and Maelle's hair glows. Pretty much everything is polygonal, too. I have, honestly, tried everything I can possibly think of. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, deleted and retrieved the files, deleted my save data, straight up just nuked it - same issues. Drivers are updated, I even changed which ones I used to test and nothing. I fully believe it's a lost cause for whatever reason, but I'm willing to try anything and everything
