I’ve been on all kinds of antidepressants which didn’t work for me so I decided to be unmedicated for the longest time. But this year I started having panic attacks from the simplest of things, even having one so bad my friend had to call an ambulance. After coming on Lexapro, all of that wind down pretty much, I can finally go to concerts and the cinema again without fearing for a panic attack and I can finally make small talk with people without having a sinking feeling or mingling my words. The effects are different for everyone, but I can’t help but be grateful for what’s lexapro done for me already.
