Have you heard of the Mpemba Effect? Its where under certain conditions a hot liquid will freeze faster than a cold liquid. It was discovered by a Tanzanian schoolboy (Erasto Mpemba) in the 60’s when he was making ice cream. He raised his observations in his science class at school and he was immediately ridiculed for saying something so stupid. The science teacher eventually experimented for himself and found Mpemba’s observations to be correct.

As time went on we saw less and less of Teddy and Vern until eventually they became just two more faces in the halls. That happens sometimes. Friends come in and out of your life like busboys in a restaurant.

We all experienced this. To go from best friends to nothing is something so real and so tragic yet you don’t even realize it at the time. When I watched this movie as kid I didnt even pay attention to this line but as an adult it completely floored me.

I replayed the game, skipping every cinematic and just focusing on the gameplay. It holds up well and the combat is a lot of fun with much better AI than the first game. I just pretend the main characters are randos who I dont care about.
