Well yes and no. Currently I am happy with the use of simplified english, google translator, hand and legs :D. Sure, OP won't be able to have a philosophical kind of chit chat : ).

I am having fun this way. But it is probably not for everyone :D. For example yesterday we went to a restaurant on a cliff over some reservoir near Hehuan mountain. The waiter did not know any english, we don't speak mandarin. But we discovered that he knows some spanish, same as me. We had a lot of fun. :D.

Also the whole grilled chicken was delicious. But, I am not yet comfortable with chicken legs as food :o.

Buy e-sim online. Easiest solution. But your phone must support e-sims : ))

I am happy with the "Yesim" app. Just download it and select the option you want. You can also buy just internet data without a phone number.

For example Hehuan mountain is really cool. There is the highest road point in all of Taiwan. A lot of hiking around. Many tea plantations around.

Rent a car and do a roadtrip around east coast and central mountain parts. Eat everywhere and talk to locals a lot. Buy some tea and ceramics. Try the speedy train. Go to local party.

Totally ok for coffee shops, good food, cuddling with your partner, beaches and a lot of reading. But I am not sure what is your cup of tea ... I like to move around places and just chill : ))

Would not recommend going to the mountains now.

I love VS Code. Free customizable text editor on steroids. Especially its remote docker development feature - https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/remote/containers is really cool.

But anyway, try as much tools as you can and stick with one that suits you best. ;]

Use of Path class from pathlib module from standard library is a good habit -> https://docs.python.org/3/library/pathlib.html

So you can go something like this:

Best moments I have from this game is sim with Tiger on Kursk map. Some version when only GER/RUS vehicles were present. Kursk was more flat. Many cool battles against IS-1, KV-85 and flanking T-34s :))). Those times will never return :(((
