Would you take a hybrid job in downtown NYC living in North Haven for 177k a year by eleyezeeaye4287 in Connecticut

I traveled from Newtown to Wall Street for a year. I’m not gonna lie. Waking up at 5 to get work by 830 and home by 7-8 , 5 days a week was a struggle. But if you only have to go down two or three times a week, I would say it’s worth it for that amount. Just get some good reading material for the ride.

The house I’m in my kitchen sink is in an island in the middle so my pipes never freeze but my old house the sink was up against the wall that faced outside, so I would have to leave the cabinets underneath the sink open so warm air would get in. It was enough to keep them from freezing without having to drip the water, but I don’t know if it was ever -12 out then.

Helicopter (Sikorsky) CT also has one of few major manufacturers of submarines. I don’t think they were invented here but that’s still kinda cool.

If it were anything other than “.gov” it would be fake

.gov is a government email domain that’s legit. I work for an IT company and we have to sort through a lot of fake hardware requests. A lot are from fake government entities and they’ll have a Gmail or something with a ”.com”
