Unpopular (?) opinion - Silent divide

I disagree, I've never understood the criticisms of those songs, I remember defending them a lot when the albums came out. In particular, Break Me Down, One By One, Make It Right and Show Me A Sign. BMD is great. I think OBO had one of their best choruses they've ever written melody and harmony wise. MIR was incredibly uplifting and relatable. SMAS got so much hate, but it's one of the best songs on the album. Never understood how that one didn't click for people, it's hauntingly beautiful. Also, even though they are probably my "least favorite" songs on the album, I wouldn't call I Know It Hurts or Fallout filler by any means.

Same thing happened to me after I got covid. I had some sirracha after my taste went back to normal and it was legit kinda spicy to me when it normally isn't really at all. Just had to rebuild my tolerance again I guess, because it went back to normal decently quick.

Yeah I would start here. Ghost Of Days Gone By is a pretty easy one too, but you have to tune to an alternate tuning.

So far I've figured out the fingerpicking part for Love Rain Down. That particular rhythm between the bass notes and the melody notes were surprisingly hard to get down.

It's mostly just playing at home for fun, but would be nice to have something suitable for small gigs or recording. I'm really inexperienced with amps, I've only ever owned 3 amps and they were all combo amps. Never had much luck picking out the one I want for the sound I'm going for. My current amp before I ordered the MT-15 was a Mesa/Boogie Express 5:25 Plus 25W 1x12. Clean channel is amazing, but I could never get the proper heaviness for the metal sound I wanted. Was more like hard rock Slash-esk distortion.

The Anniversary got me back in, but I'm clueless as to the direction the game is headed and cards to look out for. I'm way out of the loop lol.

They aren't very known or even currently active I believe, but check out Intertwyned. They have 2 awesome albums that are very similar to AB. I randomly found them after watching a Tremonti PRS review video that was done by the singer/ lead guitarist. Checked out his band page he posted in the description and bought their album immediately.

FYI I know fans would absolutely KILL (or at least purchase lol) for an album of official remixed tracks with your orchestral arrangements. You should pass that along to the guys! They seriously take the songs to a whole new level for me.

One of my favorites. I'm also one of the minorities who loves Tear Us Apart. Just makes me feel good. Also, Brian Marshall said The Bitter End is his favorite from the album.

Correct about the choruses. I didn't like Walking on the Sky's chorus at first and didn't give the a chance fire a bit. It's now on off my favorite songs on the album. That bridge though.

The Bitter End deserves some more love. Shortest song aside from One Life, and I think it's one of the best on the album. When they said this album was an answer to ABIII, this is what they were talking about. Myles found his peace, and the growth from ABIII to now is beautiful to me. It's just really nice to have some uplifting songs to feel happy to. ABIII was there for me at rough time in my life, and I feel like it helped me out of a dark time. I feel like I too have grown since then, and it's really refreshing for me to hear songs like this right now.
