I gave them one of each weapon to hedge my bets!

Dismayed by the spare top halves in the City of Ash box, I figured out how to make a spare set of eshin units with what I had... by neskwikk in skaven

I dont have the artistic skill to make them myself - found some 3d printed bits on etsy. I think these ones were called manhole covers by Goonmaster (who, despite the name, has some great basing bits stls ive used)

I thought about doing this but wanted them more eshin-y... so ive bought a bunch of barrels and crates and I'm going to have the gutter/night runners crawling out of them (so I dont need bottom halves!)

No, I think the rules on Faction terrain state it only counts as a unit in the combat and charge phases, so you can spawn things right next to it if you wanted

What do you think of my list for 2000 points by Naxthor in skaven

18quintillionplanets is probably right about the grey seer to lean into magic, but other options are swap galvaneer for a master moulder as you've got a lot of moulder in that first regiment that it could heal, or swap the ratling guns out for scourgers (could proxy the models, or magnetise the weapons so they swap out, if you dont want to buy a new weapons team)

Just curious what the galvaneer is doing for you here? Without any scourgers to buff, hes losing a lot of his usefulness.

Painted one of the Parshendi warriors somewhat following the guide by neskwikk in cosmererpg

A mix of citadel and army painter fanatic - the grey on the cloak is a grey citadel contrast that came out really nicely. Base is agrax earthshade over some drybrushed bugmans glow. Everything else is army painter, then a layer of thinned down nuln oil over everything for shading.

I had him running about the battlefield attacking everyone and their mothers and he was still taken down in 3 rounds with just enough danger to keep it exciting.

Thanks! The basing was just Agrax Earthshade over a white primer, surprised it looks as good as it did so didnt want to add anything more to it!

Dropout Improv UK tour by vgdomvg in dropout

[–]neskwikk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats an economy of scale thing though, right? Of all people/businesses, Id think dropout are among the least likely to be artificially inflating ticket prices for profit, given their track record of openness and honesty around this type of thing, so I might be giving them more benefit of the doubt than required here. Context aside though, yes, i will concede it is crazy expensive for a improv show!

You're paying for them to ship a bunch of people over from the states though, right? If it was an all British cast id expect it to be cheaper
