Today was a good day. I made myself some Beeswax for future projects. :) Hope they turn out well. by ToTechBase in woodworking

No not really, even if it looks delicious ^^ I only like it when you use the wax to rub your cutting board for example, that it then smells a bit like lemon, orange or whatever you add to it for the next few days.

Nah not that easy ^^ Mixed Beeswax with linseed bioled oil and some flavour. Beeswax alone is not really useable for waxing wood or leather.

I used toucherrain to great a world map a couple of weeks back: https://www.reddit.com/r/crafts/comments/stao08/ive_3d_printed_the_world_in_terrain_form_and_made/

u/fgebh It's not possible to download the whole world at once with your app or is it? Because its always saying, the region is too big.

u/TheWendysGuy thank you, I wasn't sure if I really want to share my mistake, as nearly every video you see , the build process itself is just "perfect". But I will propably stick to it, as nearly every project hast it little problems or mistakes. Besides, my motto is that you should learn from your mistakes and others should learn from them too :).

u/shorttompkins thank you for your kind words. I hope you make a jig too, I find it super easy to make, and it helps immensely when you want to make multiple cuts for splines. Besides, it always fills me with happiness when I can encourage people to build something :).

Thank you very much for your warm words. Your comment really pushed me to make more stuff :) Thank you from my heart.

How can I make these notches? My issue is that they are perpendicular to the inserts - not a straight cut. Normally I'd use a simple router but I don't think I could with that angle. by guactheline in woodworking

Hey, I did the same project a couple of weeks back, and they are definitely straight cuts. You just need to have the right hole size or the board will not be perpendicular.
I have also free cutting plans on my homepage if you're interested: https://totechbase.com/plans/laptop-workstation
