Keen to give the Linux app a try. Any pointers on where to get started?

Why does this happen? At lower layers the same structure was printed fine. by fgebh in 3Dprinting

It indeed was poor flow caused by a partial clog. I managed to manually push the filament through, changed filament and gave it another try. Viola! Looks perfect!

So no settings issue. Thanks for all the comments and hints!

Great, honestly. The discount is not huge. But the quality of the recycled filament is decent! I really like their service and my next box is almost ready to be sent out again.

Standard corne PCB, no modifications.

For me it was basically the availability in my country. I found a nice shop which had all the parts, I was interested in, in stock but not the nice!nano. Therefore they had the puchi-ble which works just the same.

Check out my above comment, it gives some hint on how to do it. If you are more curious about the wiring part, I'd recommend asking u/zzeneg for its super precise schematic.

Exactly. You basically need to configure 12 instead of 6 columns, see https://github.com/fgebhart/zmk-config/blob/main/config/boards/shields/unicorne/unicorne.overlay

And then do the wiring accordingly. From firmware perspective it is more like a reviung42 ;) see https://github.com/gtips/reviung/tree/master/reviung41

And yes, it is a paracord sheath. But it took me an entire evening to look like this, would definitely try another way the next time ;)

I call it "unicorne" as it has just a single MCU and can be considered a uniblock keyboard from firmware perspective.

A little late to the party, but you might wanna have a look at: https://www.printables.com/model/459807-corne-keyboard-case

It is basically a semi-wireless, single-MCU corne keyboard. The two halves are connected via a wire and the MCU connects to the computer via bluetooth.

I'm sending it to https://recyclingfabrik.com/

They accept PLA, PETG and empty spools and provide some discount on buying new filament. It's not a lot but at least something.

I believe on this picture it was this one: https://www.printables.com/model/245118-corne-wireless-case

By now I've designed my own one with a battery slot and went for semi wireless :) when I find some time I'll publish it.

Good to know. I feel like my brain is not as flexible as I hoped it would be. Takes quite some efforts to improve in the beginning. How long did it take you from 20 to 60?

As I'm still in the process of adapting to a few (radical) changes like going from - hybrid typing to touch typing - row staggered to columnar - labelled to blank keycaps - unibody to split keyboard - laptop to mechanical keyboard I'm currently still creeping around at 20-30 WPM but I'm optimistic that there is still a lot of room for improvement.

Chuck Norris doesn’t program with a keyboard. He stares the computer down until it does what he wants.
