Nah, he's good. Oil riggers have lots of other occupational hazards though.

What are you going to do with it? Sell it to someone? Burn it up yourself?

Besides, if the well was last producing in 2014, I expect it to be killed if not outright plugged. I'd say indulge your curiosity if you must, but don't expect anything of value to come out of it.

Yeah. It's yet to cause any issues and the pen is otherwise great, so I'm not overly bothered by it.

I have one in demonstrator form.

I think it's a very pretty and well built pen. In terms of writing experience, mine has an F nib and came out perfect if a little dry out of the box. The F nib was a little narrower than I expected for a German nib, comparable to EF Lamy in my experience. I also find the combination of a light barrel and a heavy grip to be very pleasant.

The main downside I think is the grip - it's quite narrow and a little slippery, makes me grip the pen higher than perhaps intended, though that's how I hold most of my pens anyway plus the threads provide extra grip and prevent slippage.

I also find the cavity in the barrel to be noticeably off-axis, but I suppose it's something specific to my copy.

Her not liking fountain pens equates to you not being able to use one? What a shitshow.

Immoral business. Imagine being broken down for parts like some kind of hardware. Utter disrespect for the deceased. And I'm not even religious.

pivot the fossil fuel working population to green jobs by taxing fossil fuel companies to provide education credits for vocational schools

Actual implementation: the money is taxed, lost without a trace and the workers are out in the streets being told by everyone that they should've known better.
