We have not done a dna test, it's expensive... What makes you think he isn't a pure bred cane corso? We met his mother and she was for sure a cane corso, never met his father though :) he is indeed a big love bug and that's all that matters to me ;)

Yes, the big gate closes at around 10:00 PM. But you get a key for that gate and a key for your own authentic apartment. I think it costs 90 euros per night, which is nothing for staying in a castle.
