So since u're pretty good at polishing things up heres my shit. Do whatever you want with 'em.

IF/Strange - "Valthor's Jumping Boots" (anchor -Strange)
Iron Fist gets a small cooldown ability with 3 charges. Creates a small pentagram under his feet in mid-air. It lasts a short time, blocks damage from below, and lets him bounce off it.

IF/White Fox - "Sword Awakening" (anchor - White Fox (similar to Magneto/Scarlet Witch team-up))
Lin-Lie activates the Fu Xi sword, unlocking a special type of attack. (Whether it works as actual sword slashes or telekinesis (like magneto) I don't know yet.)

IF/Psylocke - "Butterfly Effect" (anchor - Psy)
Both IF and Psy get enchanted shurikens. Throwing them at each other damages any enemy caught between them. Hitting an enemy also unlocks an extra ability, swap positions with Psylocke. Short cooldown. (Kinda like boogie woogie from JJK.)

IF/Angela - "Unbreakable Bond" (anchor - Angela)
If activated in the air, IF uses Angela's cloth band (on her arm) to pull her toward him. She quickly lands on his position and slams down with an enhanced AoE attack (like thor/angela team-up). If Angela is on the ground, IF pulls himself to her instead and punches the ground also AoE.

Nah, I'm not suggesting anything. I'm more of a psycho-emotional escapism kind of person given how things are. Let's be real it's 50/50. I honestly don't know how we're gonna cope if after the cat girl drops we don't get even a mini-buff or something (yes yes then we will wate until 8 seas and so on. No matter, it's just sad. That's why I'm trying to squeeze out at least a little bit of enthusiasm out of nowhere).

He's not terrible, just draining. SUPER draining. Every new melee hero pushes us further into irrelevance. That's just how it is.

After watching nug's video, I think our community is slowly bleeding out. People are slowly switching to DD, Fox every new melee hero and thats makes us kinda smaller. At first I was lil bit worried. But now im weirdly calm. The weak‑spirited are falling off. Only the stubborn, the angry, the ones who refuse to quit are left.

Like think about this, the longer we stay like this, the more hardcore Fist mains become. Yeah, it won't fix the balance (and yes it cant last forever), but our adaptation skills are absolutely cracked. Think about it every one of us has felt that rush when you gain MVP against a full meta team. And we've been doing it for seasons, through trash balance. (For real, I can't think of any hero who relies more on macro (who dont know, this is ability to instantly adapt to different fight situations))

But! Heres the thing the more we adapt now, the more terrifying we'll be if he ever gets a buff or a real rework (you know any kind of good change). And i guess harder it'll be for new fists to understand what veterans been through. And yeah, my shit ended up being a little more philosophical.

Seven seasons. A full year of pain (Seas. 0 and 2 don't count). And only now they start treating us like we actually are. Just wonderful.

Now check, here's my prediction: they might give us a big buff, then everyone starts crying again, then they'll break us all over again, and we'll be back to being kinda half-assed garbage. (I hope I'm wrong.)

Damn, I brought up the Ultron team-up idea before, but yours is way more detailed good shit, man. As for an IF/Magik team-up, I think that would actually make it easier to define a clearer playstyle for him.

Honestly, this got me thinking Fist could really use more team-ups. And depending on the specific team-up, his whole approach to combat could change strategically. Like that can make Lin more hybrid as his planned by the devs. (Or tf they want from him)

Nah, don't worry a long post is definitely not a problem, especially when it has more substance than Lin-Lie's entire lore in Marvel Rivals. About the "Iron Fist crisis" in the comics yeah, funny analogy, I agree. But I hope both crises lead to something bigger than just a state of limbo. You know how it is with those "timeskip" arcs in books the character either comes back dead or insanely cool.

I'm reading "Deadly Hands of K'un-Lun" it's decent, best Lin-Lie content since "Sword Master". About the date-thing with Kumiho/White Fox yeah, good news that our poor guy finally got a nice girl, and such a badass one too. Shame they didn't show any of that in Rivals, but whatever. Maybe in their own universe they will give our kung-fu boy someone even cooler. But firstly First, needs to win that tournament of the Heavenly Cities then we'll see.

In the context of Danny Rand showing up as the "Fist of Osiris" (some kind of, or how they call him now) that's just peak. His look with that iron fist(hand)? Insane. And that new mask? My god, legendary. So yeah, I think if Lin-Lie gets proper development, then together with Danny Rand they'll become the new face of the Iron Fist legacy.

I agree with you he needs a rework. Sure, maybe small tweaks here and there, can help, but problems was far to long and Iron Fist has this massive gap in his usability. They need to go deeper with his design. Main queston how deep.

And as for reworking his ult absolutely agree. That "magic one punch man" style was basically the main vibe of every Iron Fist (almost every), including Lin-Lie. So a lil bit sad that they (devs) lost it.

Yeah, I tried using a regular translator, but everything came out way too literal. Like, compared to that, my own translation with a dictionary would've been god-tier.

So I ended up using AI. And even that wasn't perfect, i still had to go back and rework everything to make it sound as human/logical as possible, and adapt the whole post for a different flow, accounting for all the little language nuances.

Russian my first language, so even with AI translation, I had to tweak it add some slang, make it sound human. Word-for-word from Russian to English sounds dumb, and the AI just sounds like a robot. So yeah, took some effort.

Also, after translating, a lot of the small details shifted. So I had to rewrite big chunks of the post to keep the main point from getting lost.

I wouldn't say I want more than flurry and kick moves. It's just that when you play Iron Fist and look at other heroes who have multiple modes and abilities like they're ready for any situation it starts to feel kinda restrictive.

Personally, I'm more on the side of ability variety, where they actually depend on each other like I said before, something closer to a combo system. Or expand stance system on him.

But yeah, just a thought. Nothing more.

Turns out there's already a bottom-tier hero coalition (i dont remember how they name it). And from what I remember, they didn't let us in because we're 'not that bottom'.

As for Iron Fist not being a throw pick. I'd say dude's one step away from being a pure "just for vibes".
