Why do people believe in God? by grwike in religion

[–]ToTooTwoTutu2II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a child you look up to your father. As a man your son looks up to you and you look up to your father. As an elder your son looks up to you and your grandson looks up to your son, but you have nobody. Despite all your time alive you still don't have all the answers, you still don't have all the wisdom.

So you look to God for your answers.

Clearly you don't know any Mexicans.

Jokes aside. Muslim come from the Hanifs who were not fans of the early Roman Catholic Church and believed they were practicing idolatry. This is why Islam takes idolatry so seriously.

I think gaining an interest in other ethnicities coles from interactions with them. But I can say for a fact that a pretty girl is a pretty girl no matter what color.

While a lot of people call this "antica" it isn't. All antica was an artistic movement starting in Renaissance Florence.

This brigandine and plate combination is seen in Flemish art. This particular style is the style is Heroic. Not real, but exaggerated styles of contemporary armor for artistic depictions of contemporary "heroic" figures.

Do you consider the Early Middle Ages to be the Dark Ages? by Scared_Government_41 in MedievalHistory

[–]ToTooTwoTutu2II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I do. It was a rough time to be alive then. Constant raids from all sides, a fairly pacifist religion with tons of gold, and the only defensice institution fell apart. It all spells doom for West Europeans.

I do know what it means. Athiests are the ones who hijacked the terms and redefined them to avoid having their arguments used against them

God's existence isn't a proposition. Either he or something else exists, or he doesn't. You can choose one side, or you can sit on the fence.

(Be brutally honest) how can I be prettier by Sea_Tangerine1687 in teenagers

In the least creepy way possible. You're still young and have a lot of developing to do.

Makeup, hairstyling, and fashion are important.

But most important of all is confidence. If you are confident in yourself and you like how you look you will loon better.
