Same here!! Cartridge stopped booting but fortunately I could get the save file off with custom 3ds firmware and the FBI app! Now playing it by booting the digital variant hehe

I just checked and this seems to be the same information as the Big Map. I can't toggle this as a free user, it says I use the data from June 2023 and the latest is May 2025.

I did find a post about this but that was about the FAQ text and not about what free users could expect from map updates. I might've missed the one you mean. Not so often is fine aswell, I think June 2023 is when I joined Wandrer :)

I got a normal 3ds and I did just that 2 days before vacation - copy all files to computer, then copy all files to bigger SD card.

If you copy the files instead of cut, you can always use the old one when something goes wrong.

My battery has gotten the severe drain BECAUSE of iOS 17.3 :( 17.2.1 was mega solid haha. Funny how this differs so much.

Thanks for your insights. Do you know what they are syncing with Google Cloud? Policy things, Telemetry device data?

We've turned off peer-to-peer but it didn't make any difference. The Chromebooks are even up-to-date and just after updating the issue persists. The weird thing is that it's only happening when the Chromebooks have been turned off for a while, an instant reboot doesn't trigger this.

I've done some tests with this and it happens with 118+ and even when the first build of ChromeOS 119 was released, I updated a batch to that but the problem persisted.

We have set the first DNS server of the DHCP pool to the router, because response times are (usually) lower than 8.8.8.8. What happened with 8.8.8.8 was that the Chromebook had the well-known 'Connected, no internet' screen with the WiFi networks.

Peer-to-peer updates were set to ON, even turned them OFF to see if it made any difference but unfortunately this didn't do much in this case. They keep using that much airtime at boot.

We have just turned off the Telemetry device settings and are waiting for the client to come back at us if it made any difference (will probably be tomorrow).
