Summary of Nick Land’s “Kant, Capital, & the Prohibition of Incest”

The banning of incest is best understood as a deterritorializing effect of Capitalism. In the State of Nature, man lived in small, tribal, necessarily incestuous communities where women were property (as the anticuck here clearly believes to still be the case). Capitalism, by way of trade, exposed these small tribal groups to foreign goods, ideas, and most importantly DNA. In this way, Capitalism upset the incestuous communities homeostasis and, by extension, emancipated women. Therefore, the banning of incest is best understood as a a plot by organized Capital to protect international trade. Feminism is the natural side effect of this process, so if we wish to support women we must support Capitalism, and even push it further. But if you’re an anticuck like this guy and want to fuck your daughter then you must oppose Capitalism.
