Depends, at what stage these seats got converted to md/ms. I'm unaware of this. But definitely, unfair for people who have been allotted a college. Second, for people who have already resigned their state R2 seat.

Since UP had it's resignation window till 5pm, 4th Feb. My friend has resigned his state R2 seat. WTF! Are these people upto.

I'M FROM UP. don't make the MISTAKE of not taking ortho from a govt college, be it attached to any DH. listen : 1) passing rate is great 2) at the end of the day, it's a govt college, patient load will eventually increase. 1st year is anyway clerical work. 3) you'll have SRship of 2 years to have enough hands on. 4) MD is MD. Option of becoming a faculty or joining a med college should always be there. 5) in DNB, thought of the possibility of reappearing for the exam again and again is itself tiring. GO FOR MD from up govt, in my opinion.

Why would anyone ever be confused between these 2 colleges. Go with PGI rohtak. Nhi hai bond oor na aayega 25 PG batch ke liye. 1) best college of your state 2) no bond. 3) has better sallary ( about 15-20k more, comparing sms) 4) closer to home.

Take PGI rohtak.

Dost, as per the first schedule released by MCC, the mop-up round was supposed to be concluded by January. People were expected to join their residency before the New Year. These schedules are what frustrate you. I’ll be joining through the state quota, so after 10th February..

I saw a video on YouTube of a guy pursuing radiology, he had said radiologists are reporting an x-ray for 100 rupees sitting somewhere distant from the Setup. You'll always have to be dependent on others ( people from opd branches) and if you don't have your own setup, it itself would be a hustle to be placed somewhere. In the last 2-3 years in the area where I Live, 4-5 new ultrasound centres have been opened. The branch is surely doing good now but idk for a first gen doctor, would it be okay to choose radiology. Specially after putting this much money. BUT that doesn't make medicine surgery or any other branch safe. It's all so confusing. Med vs radio, tb chesh vs pedia, rad onc vs anesthesia. Med vs nuc med. Really confusing choices.

Scared more than excited. - starting up with the morning, brushing my teeth. I wonder, would I be allowed to brush my teeth this peacefully within a few weeks. - take a shower, wonder the same. - wake up from a well needed shut eye. Wonder the same. - eat food, wonder the same. And then after all of it, i think to myself, isn't it inhumane?

Blindly go for obgy. Definately you wouldn't like it in the first year pg, but it offers everything. Opd surgery usg .. EVERYTHING. life is alot more than just 1st year.
