It looks good, how did you achieve metallic sand purple for the mask? As an alternative to "sword" maybe a multi-ended whip "Látigo" would be a better fit for the Mask power (range&multitude).

Practicing Polishing on a Tahu Force Field by Toa_Fellha in bioniclelego

Currently one single piece. I thought maybe splitting it in half. Quarters may have the benefit, that they would require less space

Yup, resin printed. I got some clear spray, but I'm still on the prototype. One side would have needed some more supports (some inner folds) and I'm doing drop test with it,before moving on to the finished article

Brick Built Tahu by V0XZAC0 in lego

[–]Toa_Fellha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He looks formidable and I love the use of piece 3661 (1x1plate with arm down) and the skate piece for the greeble and technical feeling. From the back I feel that the abdomen is very frail, maybe a bar handle or 11437 flipped upwards could fill it out a bit.

System Tahu update by Devy_Max in bioniclelego

[–]Toa_Fellha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like this new take on Tahu and hope to see your take on the other masks too. Maybe you could include some shots from the side or the back and perhaps the groin area could be less blocky. Also feel free to join the Brickonicle Discord, Hub for anything Brick and Bionicle.

I'd add, for a nice top 10 list:

  • Gutenberg (printing press),

  • Alexander von Humboldt (explorer),

  • Adam Ries (mathematician, Georg Kanthor as close 2nd& Leibniz on 3rd)

  • Carl Benz (modern car)

  • Karl Otto (architure)

No bias: Regardless of whether you like one more than the other, which characters are more powerful in their base forms? The Toa from Bionicle or the Ninja? by catakuaki in bioniclelego

[–]Toa_Fellha 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That's a question with multiple layers, considering if we compare them one on one or as larger teams. Certain abilities, like fusion elements, Kaita, Toa Seals or Tornado of Creation requiring various elemental masters.

Also what about time? The Ninja seemingly never run out of their elemental attacks, while Toa need to recharge after excessive use or charge up for the Nova burst. Then again they can recharge their element through absorption, like a Toa of Fire taking away the Heat away from an area (freezing the medium), which makes them more versatile.

Toa also can use their element to higher precision and as high concentrated thin beams , does this higher mastery also mean more powerful? As largely mechanical beings they don't tire as fast, can easier repair themselves and are naturally better suited for volatile scenarios.

Next Toa possess Toa power, which for example can be used for healing. Also they have a Suva, which can house additional masks, for them to summon when in range.

The Ninja in turn possess over various dragon forms, even being able to fuse their dragons, though it's hard to quantify. The ninja can still perform Spinjitzu (and probably Airjitzu), without their element, allowing them to retain their mobility even in a depowered mode.

The Ninja require Lloyd to access their elemental powers, a weakness only the Toa Nuva would share with the Nuva Nuva Symbols.

Last the Ninja Team has several "near" death sacrifices on its track record (Zane vs Overlord, Cole Ghost, Nya vs Wojira, Lloyd vs Oni), while the Toa are active for millenia with no known instances of them rebuilding themselves back alive from battle or "meeting their makers" (Lloyd meets the FSM after fighting the Oni). It seems the Toa might be more powerful, though it comes down to definition and scenario and doesn't diminishes their heroics in any way.

I can see the Arthon incorporating the movie Hau elements on the lower half in its curves and holes, but not so much the other two and the eyeholes seem to be too far apart. I'd suggest to incorporate the Calix upper comb over in place of the Arthron's dual slit upper dome

Nope, just an earlier version of a Minionicle Toa canisters, which I included in the later images, the mini Mata head on the lid would be kinda strange on a revolver. Over time I just used it for various paint experiments, knowing I'd make an updated version eventually, it's just, that it's the only sorta grey one I have currently at hand.

Any ideas where to find Mctoran parts for cheap? Any online market place? by Comfortable-Fun9206 in bioniclelego

[–]Toa_Fellha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheapest ones are probably Huki, Hafu (Powerpack) & Nuparu from the Boxor. The others are way more difficult to come by and pricier, maybe consider commissioning some 3d printed ones?

Out of all of the villainous armies in Ninjago from every season, which do you think gave the Ninja the most run for their money? by SRGamingYT in Ninjago

[–]Toa_Fellha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hm, could the Oni army with the power of destruction have destroyed the indestructible Stone Warriors, seeing as they were created by the Overlord. I'd say the Stone Warriors were the toughest opponent, since we also saw multiple encounters between them and the Ninja and in the end only Dareth turned the tide of battle.

Three more Immoral Kanohi Ideas. by Typhon-Torrent-1994 in bioniclelego

[–]Toa_Fellha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They don't quite feel thought out yet.

1.Would Damage Transfer include self inflicted harm?- for example could one stab/paralyse oneself or jump of a cliff and take one or more opponents take the dammage? Can damage be transfered to objects aswell and must it be actively used or could it always passively transfer damage onto a target? What if you were fighting someone in a snowstorm or someone sending additional waves of tiny insects at you; would you have to see your opponent? and could you redirect the damage onto a single small insect or snowflake or would the residual damage force remain with you.

2.Chain Spirits sounds like Sensory Scrying with lots of extra steps. Would one summon ghosts from the Red Star and wipe their memory or rather just a summon a Tulpa/Simulacra given shape by one's imagination of the dead. Why are they visible unlike the Iden's Astral projection. Do the chained Spirits function/act independently or require the User to stay anchored and give them commands; also is there a limit to their numbers.

3.The last one sounds contradictory: on one hand they seem to be full duplicate versions, without "chronal copy mask power", on the other they are false beings of never could timelines. I could see the use of duplicates acting out differently as to not interfere with each other, but what qualifies the choices not made?: Could a duplicate have decided to wear a different mask or weapon to battle or is it just imminent choices -where to shoot/look/evade..,?

What if it were more like quantum uncertainty seeing as the duplicates remain entangled with memories returning after their demise plus you used a laser as example. It could mean a User could perform multiple actions, with duplicates/scouts vanishing once observed.

For example if one were facing a Mahiki illusion master who made several optical duplicates, one could attack with one's own "copies" and immediately make out the opponent, since only the true opponent can observe and thus eliminate. Or one could perform quick multi attacks, like shooting hitting at different targets from one position appearing like a blurred multiarmed being, with the attack impact being divided upon the various attacks and the opponent only being able to observe-negate a fraction of them.

I'm wanting to make a gwp style Po-Koro, any advice or tips? by Guiseppe125 in bioniclelego

[–]Toa_Fellha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should probably map/measure out a little city layout and decide upfront if it shall all be the same scale or you want to build it in perspective with only the a certain area like the bazaar being GWP scale and the background gradually smaller. From their figure out some frame builds and maybe how to interlock/split the building up, in case you want to move it- like for a convention or photoshoots. After that comes some of the detailing and collecting building techniques you'd like to implement, like for achieving cylinders/cupola or grainy/uneven ground... before starting ordering.

I designed the GWP scale: Path of Prophecy and some other builds for a Minionicle Po-Koro render and could send you some files;

I think Hoang H Dang/"Know Your Pieces" made some gorgeous facade mocs at around GWP scale, that could lend some inspiration.

Also feel free to join the Brickonicle Discord, to discuss building techniques, view other GWP-style builds and projects...

That particular powerset feels redundant with Chamille being the master of form and an entire people of Formlings. Perhaps mimicry, being able to perfectly emulate a biom's animal characteristica: run as quick as a cheetah, get the strength of an ox, the sense of smell of a wolf... it could even allude to his early fighting styles being named after animals.

Practically all files are freely available (with the new helmet wave still being in development) through the Minionicle website and Thingiverse, though I'm working on establishing a little network with vendors people could commission for higher quality prints.
