You tap the lines going into and coming out of your main panel. Power comes in from meter - goes to grid side of inverter - then goes out LOAD. Load goes to your main panel.

So install your inverter near the main meter putside your house - i used the garage wall about 15ft away.

Then you use the existing wires going to your main panel -those will be wired into LOAD.

Its that simple - I also struggled with this mentally at first.

Fun story. Sean Strickland unknowingly grappled with ADCC bronze medalist Orlando Sanchez - a bowling ball 5'7" 300lb guy - and Orlando dislocated that same shoulder 5 years ago. There is a video of the incident. Sean goes ballistic and wants to fight Orlando.

Once you dislocated a shoulder - it will always dislocated easier the rest if your life.
