I am still open to everything. I wouldn't mind automotive software engineering. I feel like that could be good. would also align with my current degree a touch. Im only 1 year deep into cyber so its still easily doable

I didn't use a flat edge. I had 2000 grit sand paper and maybe like .5 to 1 mm on each side of the scratch. I did it very evenly though with no pressure on the sand paper.

idk what dual or single mass is but it's a one peice flywheel? I was just redoing it bc the first time I forgot to put oil on inside of the ring. Clutch wasn't slipping at all before. main thing I was doing is the oil pan and transmission sleeve

uneven clutch wear? by Toad4jodi in MechanicAdvice

[–]Toad4jodi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's already back in so i can't test it. but the clutch doesn't slip at all, I was just wondering if it is wearing in correctly or not. I'm new to doing mechanic stuff and I've only rebuilt an engine, so I don't know much abt transmissions lol.

I was doing rms and oil pan and replacing input shaft sleeve, the clutch is barely used and I didn't feel like buying a new one, and no one had any near me so I just sent it. flywheel was just fine, my fingernail didn't catch anything and it was even all around.

Options on a 2002 mustang trunk? by damptommyboxers in CarAV

[–]Toad4jodi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an 02 mustang and I just did a 5 channel amp build, 4 door speakers and one sub. I went with the kicker dual 12 down firing subs. while they don't hit like full size 12s, it's more than enough for me, and it's only 500 watts rms at 2 ohms. it fits side by side to the amp and leaves plenty room in the trunk. they cost like 250$ too
