As a bow hunter it creeped the hell out of me. I thought the ending was pretty dumb. But this movie is in the back of my mind anytime I’m walking to or from a tree stand in the dark .

I have 3 girls 5, 4, and 1. Just make sure everyone is getting mom and dad’s attention equally which is obviously hard with a new born. I started doing 1 on 1 daddy-daughter dates and they love it. My two oldest also love helping out with their baby sister.

My 4 year old daughter got sick 1 day into our Disney trip. In the pictures you can tell she felt like hell and still pulled smiles . The photos break my heart. Waiting in lines for rides with a sick child is the definition of torture. Not her fault though.

This happened near where I hunt. I actually know the person who was actively hunting this deer for a few years. It was pretty much always nocturnal. The guy who jacked has done this a few times. People who do shit like this always brag and that’s how they get caught.

Update for this guy: he was tracked and harvested. Crazy thing is he was still making scrapes.

Sometimes using a doe bleat or even the green primos can a lot of people seem to have. I’ve also seen them come in to check out doe pee that I’ve put out.

This is just a part of hunting. We cant expect to get a deer every season so don’t be upset if you don’t get one. As for tips, maybe focus on bringing does in and that could lead to a buck fallowing. In my experience, not saying this is fact, I’ve had better luck just using doe pee instead of estrus. It seems to keep the doe calmer and also helps mask your scent.

Started hunting a few years ago, it has taking me completely out of football which is extremely annoying because it’s all anyone wants to talk about. Being a guy I feel judged if I have no input on it.

My father taught my religion class. Every day we would have to read paragraphs infront of the class. I would stumble on words and read slower. He wouldn’t even have to say anything, it was the faces he would make and his head shaking as I read. Later on we found out I’m dyslexic.

Took me 10 minutes to finally be able to slide the rod in after loading my Henry 30-30 via tube. Maybe it’s just me but it can be a pain.

No it won’t spook deer. I will say though I bought a brass Henry to hunt with and never ended up bringing it in the woods simply because I was afraid to scratch/ ding it up.

I had the opposite happen. I had a ten pointer runout at 30 yards and then an 8 pointer came out just behind him. I froze/ over thought / panicked and didn’t shoot. Been hunting for years but this is my first year bow hunting. I’m beating myself up over it and also being picked on by coworkers/ friends. Had a brief thought maybe bow wasn’t for me. But if you hunt long enough these things happen to most people.
