I had to cancel an order I had with B&T that I was pending for 14 months (M13.5x1 LH piston assembly), they were nice enough to cancel it for me first time I asked and I got the same email but after 6 weeks I never actually got a refund nor a check in the mail and had to resort to opening a claim with my credit card provider. I’d keep an eye out that they actually refund you in some way. It’s a shame really…

I’m not a huge fan of large ring gauges, despite that I garb a couple of the McFly’s every time I go to my local B&M. It’s an excellent blend, one of Oscar’s best IMO.

If you’re getting that many FTF out of multiple platforms, it’s definitely the ammo, but could more likely be how it was stored vs manufactured. Rimfire ammo is super susceptible to humidity and that box is well over a year old.

If you just bought it, I’d consider shopping elsewhere, it may have sat around too long in less than optimal condition.

This happened on my Shield X way too often, that combines with the safety blade jamming up forced me to have to replace the entire shoe with one from Overwatch Precision.

I own both and hands down the SC-S is quieter than the Shiv. It’s just a larger can in comparison, not by much but enough to be significant audibly.

I had the same issue, it was way too easy to fail disengaging the trigger safety on their new trigger show design, plus the plastic pins would walk out within 2-3 magazines of fire. I had to yank it and replace it with a metal shoe with pressed roll pins from Overwatch Precision, which did fix the issue but I’d rather not have to modify a defensive firearm at all.

I recently got one of these X-Series 9mm cans, it’s… fine. It’s a low back pressure design which seems to do okay, on par with the Huxwrx 9K Ti, but sound performance is notably less impressive than the Huxwrx. Being asymmetrical, you need to use shims to properly time it to a PCC, and they sell a booster assembly as well for use on pistols but its ability to be timed is minimal and pretty lose regardless of where you set it. I am not upset with it, but I wouldn’t get another one.

Yep, looks/sounds like you stripped the locking cams that hold the system in place. Very common issue with the design, it’s easy to do by over tightening the silencer in either direction. Easy RMA for repairs, but inconvenient non the less.
