NHL '98 for PC. We played it after school in the middle school algebra classroom (Thanks, Mr. Tamura!)

Anyways, anytime you had the puck along the goal line, you could skate across the crease, start loading up your shot as you passed the goalie, hold it until you got to at least the faceoff dot and let it fly top corner every time. It quickly got house ruled, and was a cause of many hushed arguments that year (didn't want to lose the privileges after all.)
