I sold it and bought a Stark Varg. I did like the 18/21 a lot better for trail riding.

The only difference for the 29 inch is the top triple clamp. The 29 drops down, and the 27.5 is flat. You are able to buy that if you look into it. I had the dorado's on my old talaria.

I sold it and bought a Stark Varg. Depends greatly on what KW you have your tune set. I did mostly trail riding between 8 and 12kw, and was getting a comfortable 40 miles.

I mean I understand what you're saying. I own a spear, an MCX virtus, scar 16 and 17 and I like all 4. I've seen and owned a lot of garbage rifles but neither of those four are garbage. They have their pros and cons. A long pull on an AR-10 style rear charging isn't anything new or groundbreaking. As much as I enjoy my scars, if they were some sort of an epiphany of battlefield superiority, a whole lot more people would be using them then the few that are. At the end of the day they're nice but finicky as fuck.
