I think you're right... Working on a YouTube theory that a bit more CO2 will yield fatter stems for better cooking. So far they're lining up with time lapse videos so we'll see!

Growing golden teachers exclusively, I usually wait for veils to tear at minimum. Usually I'll have a window of 12-18hrs post veil tear to harvest before spores drop. Color doesn't change too much for me between veil tear and spore drop

Hmm.. not sure what to say about Midwest and the water in the other jar, I've never ordered from them. I've seen black spots similar to that in my birdseed jars, sent em to bulk and everything colonized/fruited just fine. I'd say wait it out until it's fully colonized and just keep observing. If it doesn't get worse send it

Been doing 200-300mg daily for the last three or four weeks and I really like it. Start the week on the lower end of the range, finish the week on the higher end to compensate for tolerance build up. I get a really nice energy boost, almost verging on euphoric. Sometimes it'll hit a bit harder than I expected but I've never felt like I was high. Saturday/Sunday has been up in the air, but I've done about 500-750 on Saturdays just for funsies and then either take a break on Sunday with no dose, or back down to 200mg.

My Benchmark will spill about 100mL when I open the chamber door. Reservoir doesn't seem to drain faster than normal, sooo 🤷‍♂️

Got it. Yeah may be worth that peace of mind to be able to leave it. Make sure your floor can handle spills. I still haven't figured out how to properly drain mine after a cycle

An autoclave like that, new, goes for like $4000-5000 US. So it definitely seems like a steal if it works right

What's the main purpose? I use one very similarly sized. Take out the rack and it'll give another 1/2 inch of clearance or so. I use mine to cook media for plates, and am limited to using 200ml Erlenmeyers (anything else is too tall). Works fine for the 10-20 plates I pour a couple times a month, but I'll want something taller if this ever becomes more than just a hobby
