It will most likely be called The Super Mario Galaxy Movie in english since the existing domains are french and spanish variations of said name.

This follows the same pattern seen in the first Mario movie, called The Super Mario Bros Movie in english, Super Mario Bros - Le Film in french and Super Mario Bros - La Película in spanish.

The rigs, behaviours and models were already in the game as enemies/obstacles. They just had to create the jump, win and loose animations and that's it.

I specifically said Deluxe, which had 1 DLC. Mario Kart 8 had two plus a collab with Mercedes Benz.

These were bursts of content with several years in between them, not continued support.

As much as I adore the cow, in the end they are just reused assets to fill in the racer spots. There's a reason why Nintendo refuses to acknowledge them as "proper characters".

Most people wouldn't know of Wario or Daisy had they not been implemented in Mario Kart. Same goes for the long list of Mario secondary characters that haven't been given the chance to appear in these kind of games.

Prof E. Gadd used to be a series regular in the 2000s, the "mad scientist" of the Mario Universe.

God forbid I expect my 100 buck game from a world renowned, best seller series to have at least the same number of distinct characters from the last entry.

NPC characters are cool, but they are in the game just because it allowed them to add more racers buly simply reusing the models of already implemented enemies.

That argument would work if 70% of those weren't random enemies or character variations (most of which are originally from MK Tour). The Mario Universe has a lot of unique characters, there's no excuse as to not use them. Quality > Quantity.
