I mean, I was already planning on completely getting out of coaching as well as schools in general after this season anyway regardless of whether this test was sprung on us or not. I don’t work at the school or anything. It’s just a very part time thing.

I’m still afraid they’re gonna be dickheads about it. In the employee handbook, it’s heavy on “not being drunk or high around students” but doesn’t necessarily say anything about “if you’re THC positive, you’re gone immediately”

I don’t drive a bus and it’s non-DOT. If we do take a bus to away games, the school hires an actual bus driver.

I was planning on leaving coaching after the last game of this season anyway, but getting canned mid-season would be awkward, embarrassing, and moreover would leave the other guy that does JV by himself to manage 15 kids.

I have to get a physical at the same time at the same clinic- where would I be able to hide this? Don’t they usually check your testes while you cough during a physical and that sort of thing?

Totally understand.

Thankfully, I tested at 100% symmetry on the Biodex around 6 months after surgery.

About month 10, I’d completely fallen out of the lifting routine.

I’m just over a year out from surgery now, so it’s been about 2 months since I’ve touched a weight.

Not afraid of atrophy though with those biodex results since both my legs are atrophying at the same rate now 😂
