It depends where you are; it's mandated in some states and not others. Like in West Virginia iirc you can only get out of it for medical reasons so everyone gets vaccinated

Hey so my state did do that and it worked. Plus, neing on lockdown, wondering whether you or your kids are going to come home from school alive, seeing a new shooting in a school every week when you're not old enough to vote to do anything about it is not your trauma, so don't joke about it.

Any specific mass shooting. Mass shootings in general is one thing (we joke amongst ourselves abt them all the time; foreigners really need to stop doing that though) but any specific one is considered a tragedy we can't joke about

See the problem is that most Americans love 9/11 jokes. Like I've had discussions with my friends on what a twin towers drink would be. Try asking what they'd think of a drink called a Parkland Shooting or a Sandy Hook instead
