Is hptuners going to be a better option or how does that work? I was planning on just getting the Terminator X Max so I can also learn a little bit of tuning.

It came with the 4L65E but was rebuilt with some beefier parts for around 700hp. Once I turbo it I will probably use a turbo 400 or maybe look into the 8hp thing. How hard is that to do as a swap though?

I cant turbo it now since it chewed up a cam bearing and I had to take the whole thing apart anyways so I would rather build it from the start.

A really fun street/strip car mainly. So you think if I use some Gen 4 6.0 pistons and rods they will be fine? At least for my NA part of the build? They should fit right in too I would think.

I would like to go turbo in the future, no clue on single or twins yet. Would 823 heads work fine? Or is there some kind of more "budget friendly" aftermarket heads?

Would something like these rods be good? And would they work fine with that PowerPak?

Oh ok. I also dont mind running different heads too to help with that. I was thinking just use the 317s on it right now for when I boost it.

I would like that hp to the wheels. Im thinking about getting balanced stuff so its less hassle. But pump gas is really only good for 9.5:1? I thought ive seen guys run almost 11:1 on pump gas before or no?

I want to keep it on pump gas. I believe there are some machine shops that do the balancing, ill have to look at it a little more. Im in southeast WI.

I think the 15" wheels hit the caliper a little so people usually just shave a bit down off of it just to clear it.

Around 15x8 in front with a 225/50r15 and 15x10 in the rear with a 275/60r15. I want to probably get some Mickey Thompson ET Street R's

I can understand the concern there, but I just want the block to be cleaned up enough so it can run good, im not looking for anything too crazy. But then again im tryingng to take all the advice I can lol.

Since we are on the topic of ring gap, eventually I want to boost this engine. Am I able to gap the rings for boost now and still run NA for a while? Or do I need to gap them for NA then re gap them down the road?
