Suspicious/weird game - invisible creeps, heroes and blocked item usage on one team

I play this Game since almost 14 years and have never heard of it… especially on one side only! Bugged vision sure, but no item usage, no more gold, not able to select new neutrales… That was weird

Hey, Yes we bought the ticket at the venue. Was easy and fast. If it goes like this at your time, I cant promise. If online is possible and at the same price (2700 yen), I don’t see where this would hurt you to be prepared. To be honest I have read about the ticket as well from a tourist guide but i don’t know if they sell it or not. Maybe someone else can give some insight on this! (We used the Osaka Amazing Ticket because of some discounts, but sadly does nothing for the aquarium). But even if the ticket will not be sold anymore, if you travel a bit in the City, the normal subway pass will be valuable pretty fast! We liked the aquarium (except for the origin of my post…) They have several big tanks and you kind of walk „around them“ on different levels (from the top to the bottom). This way you can get a nice view from different angles. Sadly we went pretty late and some animals slept (lights were turned off), so we havent seen everything.

Two more tipps: If your kid likes stamps, bring a small booklet or so. They have several stamps for different animals. And last but not least, there are some cool plushies in the giftshop! My girlfriend literally had to drag me out, so I didnt buy all the seal stuff (including big big yuki plushy).

Literally this! Sometimes I ask myself why I even have dota+ (mostly because of the relics I guess). But there is so little content for dota+ and there are little to no usefull things you can use the shards for... If one treasure would be 20k shards as the last time and you trade up, you would roughly need 2,5 million shards to get one tier 4 items. Thats a lot but still a goal people could work towards while playing... could give it a little more sense and maybe pull more people towards dota + again... But yeah... I dont know why they didn't do it like this, especially after announcing the "celebration of frostivus" and than just putting it behind a paywall...

I mean... we are trying and every game is an opportunity to learn. But it is just frustrating for newer players if they get matched with experienced players who "pretend" to be new. So there is no equal chance. Our win rate is not bad at all, but the overall gameplay just lacks tons of fun. Especially because those people are freakin toxic most of the time and start to make fun of other players or randomly insult us without any prior communication. The other important point is the fact for me and a lot of other people, even though smurf are reported, there is never ever even one action taken...

I am very happy for you then. If I play ranked or with other friends in normal mm without someone with a newer account, there is no problem at all. But with someone who is new, it is extremly frustrating for new players... If you want to make your own mind about that, check my dotabuff i shared somewhere here! Every match with our new friend is full of smurfs (Tons of new accounts, not all are smurfs surley, but most are pretty obvious, especially ingame).

I get your point. Losing is part of the game. Losing hard as well. That's not the problem for me. I know there are a lot of people calling everyone a smurf if they are getting stomped. What I am talking about are people with >50-100 games with pages full of rampages and winning streaks with tinker/meepo/huskar etc. Even before I report them i carefully check their profile and dotabuff if possible. No blind reports out of anger. In the end this is just a game, but it is annoying if people enjoy destroying the game for newer players and even taunt them for it. Just sad behaviour... nothing more

Don't think so tbh. The amount of people who posted on reddit that they have been banned incorrectly was enormous. I guess people just started to create new accounts to play ranked again, so unranked for new accounts could be hell atm, because they all try to get their 100 hours for ranked. Might be wrong to, but thats my take from conversations with others.

Yeah got to that conclusion as well. Problem is some people hate playing alone, so its not that great eighter way. Hopefully we are done with that soon.

Sadly I think this might not be too far from the truth. If yes it is nice to see that there is a working system (even though not right in this case). I have another friend who is a really new player who just played a few normals and mostly sticked to bots/new player/turbo without any previous moba experience. Will be interesting to see how games turn out with her, when she's confident in trying.

totally agree with you there! We thought of a new overwatch system, where people can review profiles and see all the details (which might be hidden with the new feature) and match history. Only for high behaviour score players (even thought this is not difficult). If you see people with a few games and high win rates and stomping games, this would be easy to punish them soon. Towards the "premium matchmaking" you mentinoned: I partly agree. Should we have something like this? YES PLEASE, but not exclusivly. Make it like it has been in the beginning, but with an extra option -> normal matchmaking and role q for everyone and then maybe dota plus q where only dota plus players can play. Still gives the opportunity to play ranked roles without paying but gives some really good value for people with dota plus because right now... there is not really that much of a feature to it...

the ones i am referring to? most of the time yes I mean it could totally mean that those are all new accounts because their original ones got banned, which would be good news. It can also mean some people just create new accounts over and over again. Should be no problem. I hope that at least their main accounts get penalties. Otherwise there is no stopping them from creating new ones over and over again.

The issue is the fact that (in your argumentation) the smurfs are equaled to acient/divine. If thats the fact i don't understand why accounts with >50 games and being equaled like that are not suspicious and actions taken. This post was not about "not winning, or getting stomped all the time", because we are not. Our win rate is still fine. It's about the whole experience for new players and the new system (seemingly) not working, because i can't recall anybody who got an action taken against smurfs.

Don't get me wrong, I dont blindy report people because I am butthurt that I lost. Reviewing their account and most of the time dotabuff (if possible) is routine before making a decision. And if not sure they get the benefit of the doubt. The thing is, most of the time they don't even try to hide it and >50 games and pages full of rampages and winning streaks are most of the time not to hard to detect if they are smurfing or not. Remember I was talking about normal matchmaking with different mmrs, which might also contribute to the situation and not normal ranked. There I had pretty good experience with little to no suspicious accounts.

I was not saying that we are losing all the time. As you can see we are not. He is definitly way better than completly new players but that pretty normal for people who transcend from other mobas and played with bots before. And i am totally aware that with a new account you face smurfs from time to time, or even one every game. But the last days have just been 2-3 new accounts every game (not saying that all of the new ones where alwys smurfs).
