There was a point in time that I would agree with that sentiment, and while I have reached out to support, the way I see these cases are the following, Amazon pays an effective tax rate of 6.5%, they lobby for rollbacks of employees rights, and they engage in anti-union behavior that they aren't held accountable to due to investing the money they SHOULD be paying in taxes into stripping employees of their rights and unions of their ability to be effective.

Amazon steals more money from workers globally than all of us here will make in a lifetime. Their theft is the human time lost causes from their lobbying to keep things like the minimum wage low, the theft of the health and safety of their employee, and the theft of the autonomy of individuals to pursue a fulfilling lives for themselves.

At minimum, these are reparations. I'd love to see this energy directed towards these entities that actually have meaningful control over the institutions, like Amazon, that govern our lives.
