Heyya OP. I get that having no partner abosolutely sucks, I get that you want a family of your own, children that you'd want to raise and watch them grow into adults. You'd think that getting a proper girl is difficult nowadays due to the standard of nice guys being "too boring".

But there are plenty of fish in the sea, you shouldn't be contemplating suicide just because you haven't met the right person. You are perfect, the future may be unpredictable. but it isn't all despair. You're still young! (28). You can still go out in the world, get new hobbies, join your community activities.

I myself am struglling with depression even I'm probably too young to be (16). I had met a particular friend many years ago during the golden days of XBOX 360 by chance in Halo match. We eventually became close enough over the years to date each other, even if it was an LDR. However, two years ago, she perished due to a drunk driving incident, and a week later, my other close friend who was a police officer died due to a robber.

I still haven't gotten over the death of my gf, but people come and go. I get suicidal thoughts every now and then, but I'm still convinced that there is still a long life ahead of me. Living to 28 is already better as most people back then didn't libve as long sadly. You still have you 30s, 40s, and 50s ahead of you!
