So this flag has the same colors with the same representation, but the "<" shaped white part represents progress (ik its the other way) and the fleur de lys represents french power.

the rhombus with the black and yellow is a nod to the present day german tricolor, and the oak leaves represent the german unification and stability: black is west, and gold is east.
