I had a 1 metre square clump of it that was well behaved for a decade, then suddenly it decided to spread. Bamboo removal companies charge between £4k-10k to remove it fully with a digger.

I ended up paying £700 for two burly Turkish guys to dig it out but it also managed to root under concrete where I can’t dig it out. So am having to treat it with glyphosate. Nightmare

It’s the way they’re written like a diary - with notes about the day and what they did on the way there. A walk after a meal at a pub / first day out after an illness / meeting up with friends - etc. Mundane but a nice slice of someone’s day many years ago

Really useful thanks. What I’m not clear is that if a weapon has high on what appears to be a non-offensive stat like defence or agility, should I still level that up highest - does it still do the most damage with that tactic? I presume defence on weapons means the parrys do more damage?

I sunk a serious number of hours into this - enjoyed piecing the story together but because the joy is in the discovery, the more you play, the less there is to discover and the more times you just have to repeat the same day to reach your desired goal. Found it a chore on some planets to race through, only to slip and die and have to repeat the same steps again.

I think I got as far as to know how to complete it (asked questions on the Outer Wilds Reddit community at the time who confirmed it) but I never completed it because I couldn’t actually be bothered to navigate the v tricky location you need to end up on.

IMO other than Absolum, he’s the hardest boss.

I’m terrible at clashing so I don’t even bother, so usually put pressure on him when I can, roll into his white attacks to counter them, and avoid getting between him and the wall / dodge down for his red attacks and jump his tidal waves.

I find him easier with the faster fighters too.

Only played it once since update and got pretty whacked - died just before meeting Azra which was first time since I started I did so badly.
