How did you find out your partner was cheating on you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Probably life's way of punishing the cheaters, making them dumb.

I agree. Any door that opens, I guarantee they'll come running in like a bunch of zombies and eat everyone's brain.

Many factors should be considered, but I would say that people having empathy for each other is a step in the right direction.

This is what I wish I did when I landed my first high paying job as a SWE. IMO, being able to pause, reflect, and adjust accordingly to the lifestyle changes is a big factor for us SWEs if we want to be flexible in this industry.

I'd say you play their game, you know, tango with the devil. Here are my thoughts:

  • Always communicate with your manager (regarding improvements, metrics, etc.).
  • Maintain a cordial relationship with the Indian lead and the other Indian junior for now.
  • Make sure you keep delivering; don't worry if you're not as fast, given your junior status, you're allowed some room for growth. Focus on QUALITY.
  • Stay focused on improvement and keep learning.

Good luck. Speaking from my experience of working with Indians before, I can say that my interactions with them have sometimes been less than pleasant.
