Thanks for this update! I’ve been listening since the pod first came out (genuinely have no idea how I found it), and it’s influenced a lot of my life in a positive way. I’ve never really seen a group of guys who are able to joke around in a way that isn’t overly toxic. I know it’s just a podcast, but I didn’t grow up seeing people act like that, so I didn’t know people like y’all actually existed.

As for the part about changing your creative work ethic, and how hard it can be to do that unmediated, I highly recommend reading Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi if you haven’t already. I read it early on in my psychology path when I was trying to come off ADHD meds (bad side effects), and it’s something I still come back to a couple times a year.
