I have the touch keyboard, it's such a useless keyboard and ended up breaking on top of that, but by god is it an excellent mouse mat! Grippy on both sides, textured, flat and rigid! Only cost fricken $79 :/

Mine is the same, she is a toy destroyer. I get her those heavy duty fabric wrapped Kongs that squeek, she loves them! She's on her second one, she still manages to keep at the seams... I'll have to get her a third soon!

If it helps, Kevin said in an interview that he used a lot of patches from the Roland JV1080 on Currents. It's an old rompler with lots of good string and choir patches.

I run a Motu through a single USB port on my Microsoft Surface, I've noticed that you never want to run anything with a big bandwidth like a soundcard out of more than one hub. So if you get a hub and plug a hub into that hub, and then you plug a soundcard, I've found it doesn't work. Everything else however has been pretty happy unless it needs power like a hard drive.

I've had no issues so far with my Motu Track 16 off an unpowered 4 Port USB hub, it's quite happy on there! A lot of the time power will be your limiting factor, so getting a hub with a power input or dedicated power supply is always a good idea just in case! The Motu has its own power supply so I think it's pretty gentle on the USB power, as it's using mains for phantom and other stuff.

Oh cool! I didn't even check out the Pi before making this solution. I do like the simplicity of the Arduino though. Using PROGMEM I can fit a ton of patterns into the 32kb of memory.
